Johnny was awesome, food great and stay was good value for money. Rustic huts and good mosquito nets. Trip 1 was just enough time to explore.

After booking was confirmed we were moved to Lotus as they are renovating.Beds were super uncomfortable, you could feel every wire. Owners should put mosquito coils in the restaurant at least so you can eat in peace. We brought our own. Recommend you take spray as well. No fridge or coffee making in room.

What was the highlight of Ivory Bamboo Orchard Resort

Not much.

The place could be better maintained. It was unclean, cobwebs in our room. Also, I do understand that the venue thrives on tourists, but "forcing" us to take a hour boat ride when we didn't want one was something I didn't appreciate. The hammocks smelled bad and also made me itch. The idea of bamboo rooms was exciting till we saw the place. A little more effort into maintenance would make this such a nicer place to be at. I did my own 1 hour on the Cai Rang floating market for 120,000 dongs for two people as opposed to a 640,000 I would have had to pay at the property.

A unique experience

The resort was so unique and the setting was amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Set dinner menu was lovely as well.

Extremely good value for money. Highly recommended.

The people working there are amazing. The reception guys speak english to the level where you can have an actual in depth conversation, which was very refreshing and interesting. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend contacting them before coming, they could help with the transport. The food - great value for money. We tried to eat in the "eatery" as often as we could. They even have a version of burgers which we all start craving after a while. The tours, like everything else has great value for the money you pay. The guides are the same people that help you to check in, so good english. And also good knowledge about the tour itself.

The roosters are nice to look at but they tend to make sure you don't sleep when it's 4 o'clock. Half the fun of being in Vietnam I guess.

Peaceful and pleasent.

The location is great, staff extremely helpful and friendly, Jonnie, Son and Ame spoke great English. The ladies in the kitchen cooked great vegatarian food for me everyday at pretty decent prices. The rooms them selves were exactly the kind of experience we were looking for in the delta basic but clean and very comfortable. Id recommend anyone to stay here if there visiting the delta. The WiFi was not the quickest but that was not the end of the world as the scenery compensated. Very peaceful place.

What was the highlight of Ivory Bamboo Orchard Resort

So close to nature!

Beautiful staff, awesome food (limited options but they are all filling, tasty, and cheap), the bungalows are so fresh and open and surrounded by nature (pro: we could see chickens through the slats in our floorboards, and had a garden view from our shower, con: mosquitoes (although the net around the bed keeps them out) and one spider), and the tours are good value for money when you have more than 5 people sign up. Staying here made Can Tho the great experience that it was.

Located a little far out of the city, which was perfect for us as it's on the river and away from the noise, but was hard to get to other stuff to see and places to eat.

If you want to be one with nature this is it.

If you want to be one with nature this is it. The rooms are reached via homemade wooden walkways over the marsh-like area. Private bathroom is convenient, and bed was comfortable (including mosquito net). It got fairly cool enough at night to sleep. Food was great value and really tasty. Enjoyed the hammocks! We did the shorter river tour and it was pretty affordable and just long enough (I think avoid the longer 6 hour tour). Overall very quiet and chill atmosphere.

This is of no fault of the property but there are a couple roosters around that cock-A-doodle-doo’d all night, starting well before actual sunrise. A few of us commiserated on not sleeping as well as we would have liked—but that’s part of this type of experience. I’ll second what another reviewer said, some more comfortable chairs for hanging around the common area would be nice. There are just hammocks, and small backless wooden stools.

Stay here for the floating market trip!

You feel like your right in the wild, small river, jungle vibe accommodation. The boat trip to the Cai Rang floating market with the resort is exceptional, and very good value for money if enough people go!

Location, it is very far from the main town (markets and shops and restaurants) there is very limited places for food outside of the resort. The menu in resort is very limiting for vegetarians (none of the set menus were fully vegetarian).
